Zelda Spence-Wallace

Zelda has served on the Montgomery Board of Education for 3 years and has served as a passionate educator for  Public Schools for 21 years. Under Zelda’s leadership, students and families are highly engaged in educational and service-learning experiences that help raise motivation, create a positive attitude toward community activism, and build a sense of self worth.

Zelda has five children including 3 Monty grads. They are a sports family, enjoying football, basketball, cheer, wrestling, and baseball, while also enforcing academic excellence and an emphasis on community service. Zelda holds two advanced degrees and her  strong work ethic upholds author James Baldwin’s reminder to us all that “not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
